20 June / 15:00 – 17:00
Boardroom, Level 6, Student Central
While organisations are franticly trying to find new ways to improve performance, they often ignore behavioural elements. Such individual behaviours are the factors that can make, but also break projects. What is “The Human Factor in Project Management”? Quite simply, it seeks to answer the fundamental question of how we can get our teams to work together more effectively throughout the entirety of the product life cycle. One of the biggest challenges to successful project management is the evolution and social capital of the project team. The aim of this session is to present how organisations are reconfiguring their business models, linking knowledge management thinking to the key sources of competitive advantage, whilst developing their emotional intelligence.
